After over 20 years of trying to secure the Sports Field, 
the previous owners of Wooford Playing Fields have now 
sold the land to Sancler 3 Ltd who are owned by locals 
Mr Philip Bond and Mr Steve Kirkwood. 

In initial talks with new owners, they have indicated 
that they would now like to reinstate the Original 
106 Agreement Terms into their existing development 
on the field adjacent to the playing fields. 

This would then secure the future of Wooford Playing 
Fields and give the Athletic Club & the Community 
of Laugharne the opportunity to develop the sports facilities.

Both the Rugby & Cricket Officials are now preparing 
new plans for the Athletic Club to ensure the long-term 
future of Wooford Playing Fields is secured. The Club would
also like members of the community to get involved in any
future planning, this includes the school.
